Really?!

So today I went to the doctor and he prescribed me some nasal spray and eyedrops...so this evening I take out my contacts and I go to put in these eyedrops I got. Opened the little box and I find the littlest bottle of eyedrops. I am in such disbelief of how small the bottle is that I curiously check and see how much I paid for it. Walgreens graciously puts on their prescription receipts how much you pay and how much your insurance saved you...I paid $27.79 and my insurance saved me $88.20. So that means that this tiny little bottle of eyedrops normally costs $120?! Really? So I am now convinced that these eyedrops must be magical and I will never have an itchy, red eye ever again, so long as I use them...
The bottle is also oval instead of round so it is even smaller than the picture shows it to be. I just thought that was really funny...my nasal spray was only $5. Interesting huh? I thought so.

So I also took Bentley to the vet today to discuss the option of anti-anxiety medicine. I got a lot of knowledge from the vet and some good ideas...along with a prescription for Prozac. lol. It sounds way more harsh than it is. She basically told me that the Prozac is used as an aid in training. It will help calm her while I train her to be more independent. She said that a lot of really intelligent breeds get anxiety, especially when they are kept in apartments with nothing to do. She told me to get her one of those puzzle toys, take her on longer walks, give her treats when she is calm, basically she told me to 'broaden her horizons'. Hmm...

She won't be on it forever, just long enough to learn to be independent and not freak out when I'm not right by her side. I did feel weird giving it to her though...I mean it is real Prozac, like the same as people stuff...those little blue pills are always a little scary when you first start taking them right?! lololololol. oh man.

I hope no one reading this is offended that I am giving my dog anxiety pills...I think its actually a lot more common that you'd think. The vet tech was like, 'my dog's on the same stuff and it's great'. PLUS, when you have anxiety, you have an imbalance and it needs to be fixed...

Dogs are just like people apparently...the vet gives you a prescription and you take it to Walgreens and on the bottle it says the dog's name. Go figure.

I think I've been controversial enough for one day...
